SynthaBi is an internal business intelligence and automation system for a large B2B wholesale company (250M+ CZK annual revenue) — a modern, purpose-built replacement for Power BI with a far more elegant UX. It connects data from Helios ERP, Google APIs, GA4 and Microsoft Clarity with custom, legally-compliant scrapers that track the market and competitor products.
The system runs market analysis for every product and includes a field analysis module — a sales rep enters or scans a competitor's product on-site and the system compares it against the company's own catalog. It also handles automations like image augmentation for the sales portal and cost-efficient route planning to customers. Sales reps also get a clear customer analysis right at the meeting.
Besides the web BI app used across the company, SynthaBi also has a mobile app for trade shows and exhibitions. The whole system runs locally on the company's internal network, secured behind a VPN, since it handles sensitive business data.
What was challenging
- Helios ERP integration — connected via its API to sync inventory, orders and customers in real time.
- Custom, legally-compliant scrapers that track competitor pricing and availability, running separately from the main app and respecting the legal limits of data collection.
- Field product analysis module — matching and comparing a scanned competitor product against the company's own catalog.
- GA4, Microsoft Clarity and Google API integration — customer behavior and web traffic alongside internal ERP data in a single report.
- Automated product image augmentation for the sales portal, plus cost-efficient route planning for sales reps.
- Runs on the company's closed internal network behind a VPN, due to the sensitivity of business and pricing data.
